Step by step photos of a beaker being made in my studio.

A porcelain beaker form is thrown on the potter's wheel, then trimmed and prepped for surface decoration.

The beaker is then incised with decoration using a traditional calligraphy pen and a cartoonist's nib. This is done while the beaker is still at the leather hard stage.
